FAQ

What is fluidance?
Fluidance was created in a desire to serve the Montreal community through movement
and dance. These classes are really about using the body, dance, music and rhythm
to (re)discover and (re)connect with the natural alignment of the body, enhance your
body awareness and create new possibilities through movement. The practice now includes
the teaching of yoga in a very unique series of classes.

How can I increase my mobility and ease in movement?
Feel free to come in to the studio a few minutes before class to warm-up whatever
parts of your body you feel need more "oiling". Although we warm-up through routines
at the beginning of class, our bodies are all different and some muscles might need
a bit more of attention than others...give your body what it needs.

What to wear or bring for this class?
Wear comfortable, stretchy or loose clothing (such as yoga-like pants, t-shirt or tank-top),
as you will be moving and stretching. Also bring a water bottle for hydration.

What kind of food can I eat before class?
Food that will give you energy and sustain your body during exercise,
high in potassium and rich in magnesium, for example pasta, dates, nuts, fruits
(bananas are great!). Make sure you also eat right after dance class,
so that you can regenerate your muscles & your body with enough minerals and vitamins.
